Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Director, Global Program Quality and Impact to lead our global program quality and impact efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of high-quality programs that deliver impactful results for children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic leadership and direction to the global program quality and impact team, ensuring that programs are designed and implemented to deliver high-quality results.
- Program Development: Develop and implement program strategies and plans that align with the organization's mission and goals.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of program quality and impact professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure the team's success.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including donors, partners, and government officials, to build relationships and secure funding and support for programs.
- Monitoring and Evaluation: Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation plans to assess program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Knowledge Management: Develop and maintain a knowledge management system to capture and share best practices and lessons learned across the organization.
Requirements:
- Master's degree: Master's degree in a relevant field, such as international development, education, or social sciences.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in program management, leadership, and development, with a focus on global programs and partnerships.
- Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to build and manage high-performing teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions.
- Language: Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a second language (French, Arabic, or Portuguese) an asset.
