About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Guest Service Supervisor to join our team at Holiday Inn & Suites Calgary South - Conference Ctr. As a Guest Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of guest service agents and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and lead a team of guest service agents to ensure that they are providing excellent service to our guests.
    • Co-ordinate, assign and review work to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Guest Service
    • Assist guests with special needs and provide support as required.
    • Perform same duties as workers supervised.
  • Operations
    • Maintain the operation of computer systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery.
    • Requisition materials and supplies as needed.
  • Recruitment and Training
    • Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Accessibility and Inclusion
    • Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
    • Applies accessible and inclusive recruitment policies that accommodate persons with disabilities.
  • Diversity and Inclusion
    • Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster.

Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Language
    • Fluent in English.
