BDO Canada LLP is seeking a highly skilled Domestic Tax Manager to join our team in Manitoba. As a key member of our Domestic Tax practice, you will be responsible for leading client engagements, identifying business and tax opportunities, and developing strategies to capitalize on them.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead client engagements for a diverse range of clients, including small and medium enterprises
- Develop and implement tax strategies to help clients maximize their business and tax opportunities
- Prepare and review tax reorganizations, as well as review corporate, trust, and estate tax returns
- Build strong relationships with clients and communicate effectively with team members
- Engage in training staff and invest in their professional development
Your Background
- You have completed your CPA designation and have a minimum of 5 years' experience in public accounting, with a specialization in Tax for at least 2 years
- You have a deep understanding of relevant tax legislation, corporate, personal, and trust tax planning and compliance
- You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work, and possess strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
