Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Front Desk Hotel Associate to join our team at Skky Hotel Inc. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable stay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Process group arrivals and departures, taking into account any special requests or needs.
  • Take, cancel, and change room reservations as necessary, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Provide guests with information on hotel facilities and services, as well as recommendations for local points of interest.
  • Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Follow emergency and safety procedures, ensuring the well-being and safety of our guests and staff.
  • Clerical duties, including faxing, filing, and photocopying, as needed.
  • Answer telephone calls and relay messages in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist guests with special needs, providing personalized support and attention.
  • Contact guests to deliver requested wake-up calls, ensuring that all needs are met.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and staff.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Dependability, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
