SalaryThe hourly wage for this position ranges from $32.84 to $41.35, effective April 1, 2024.
Job DescriptionThis casual opportunity involves providing nursing care to patients in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will perform assessments, plan, implement, and provide personal and nursing care to clients with complex health needs.
You will administer medications according to pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures. Your scope of practice will be guided by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) competency guidelines and standards of practice.
This is a casual position, which means hours are not guaranteed and may vary. You may receive short notice of shifts, but this also presents opportunities for internal postings, including permanent and temporary positions.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you must possess a recognized diploma or certificate in Practical Nursing or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
You should hold current full practicing licensure with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). Additionally, you need to maintain current CPR certification.
