Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated pharmacy aide to join our team at Ontario Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of pharmaceutical products and be able to effectively compound, package, and label them. In addition, they will maintain accurate inventories of medications and prescription records, ensuring seamless operations in our pharmacy.


Responsibilities:


The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including:



  • Compounding, packaging, and labeling pharmaceutical products
  • Maintaining accurate inventories of medications and prescription records
  • Preparing and maintaining cleanliness of collection areas
  • Providing excellent customer service by advising customers on selection and use of non-prescription medication
  • Checking prescriptions for proper dosage
  • Calculating billing charges
  • Assisting healthcare professionals as needed
  • Ordering and maintaining stock of pharmaceutical supplies

Requirements:


To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:



  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • No prior experience is required, but 1-6 months of experience in a similar role is an asset
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively

Work Environment:

Salary and Benefits:
