Job Description:

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to Long-term Care patients, working both independently and collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Enhance quality of life for patients and families through consultation, collaboration, and evidence-based practice.
  • Demonstrate continuous improvement and advance clinical competence.
  • Participate in designated hospital committees and research projects as assigned.

Work Environment and Schedule:

This is a Casual opportunity with varied hours, including days and nights, rotating from 07:00 to 19:00 or 19:00 to 07:00 hours.

The Slocan Community Health Centre, located in New Denver, offers a residential facility attached to a 24/7 Emergency Unit and physicians' offices. Our resident-centred philosophy prioritizes supporting residents' choices and promoting their overall well-being.
