Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Training Facilitator to join our team at Homestead Land Holdings Limited. As a Training Facilitator, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering training programs to site staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the first day meet-and-greet and orientation of new building site staff, including WHMIS and safe lifting techniques training.
  • Provide new staff with their orientation package, checklists, SOP manual, and Health and Safety Training.
  • Work with new staff on a pre-scheduled basis to ensure they are familiar with company policies and procedures.
  • Train staff in minor plumbing and electrical work, general maintenance, and housekeeping duties.
  • Participate in the branch Joint Health and Safety Committee and perform annual building inspections.
  • Conduct and facilitate in-house seminars and workshops with existing staff.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver's license and own a reliable vehicle.
  • Previous experience working as on-site apartment building staff is a strong asset.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be creative and able to work under pressure.
  • Must be passionate and enthusiastic about the development of others.
  • Knowledge of the day-to-day functions of an apartment building, including boilers, elevators, compactor rooms, and swimming pools, is preferred.
  • A minimum of two years of training experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience in training methods and principles.
