Job Title: Community Training Facilitator - Indigenous Women's Health

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Training Facilitator to join our team at the Ontario Native Women's Association (ONWA). As a key member of our Community Development team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing training programs for the Anti Racism Project, as well as assisting with special projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement training programs for the Anti Racism Project
  • Assist with special projects in the Community Development Portfolio
  • Train health care professionals across the province to recognize and support the individual needs of Indigenous women and their families
  • Develop and enhance key community relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary diploma/degree in Social Sciences, Indigenous Studies, Women's Studies, and/or health studies
  • Minimum three to five years working experience in a training/facilitator role
  • Knowledge and experience in facilitation and training processes and protocols
  • Experience coordinating workshops and/or conferences, facilitating meetings and engagements
  • Expert knowledge relating to Indigenous focused training execution
