Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Supervisor to join our team at DSI Food Corporation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials into and out of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Logistics: Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of inventory, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to our customers.
  • Manage Inventory: Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and minimize stock discrepancies.
  • Develop and Implement Procedures: Establish and maintain efficient procedures for receiving, storing, and shipping goods, including documentation and record-keeping.
  • Lead a Team: Supervise and train a team of shipping and receiving staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet performance expectations.
  • Monitor and Improve Operations: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize shipping and receiving processes, reducing costs and increasing efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with other departments, such as purchasing and customer service, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and attention to detail.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position working 30 to 40 hours per week in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Language

The primary language of work is English.
