Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team at 2407609 Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials into and out of our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Shipping and Receiving: Determine the most efficient method of shipment, schedule distribution of goods, and prepare all necessary shipping documents.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, track shipments, and ensure that all goods are properly stored and secured.
  • Packing and Unpacking: Pack goods to be shipped and unpack goods received, ensuring that all items are properly labeled and accounted for.
  • Payment and Reconciliation: Process payments for goods received and reconcile any discrepancies.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Excel
  • Transportation: Public transportation is available
  • Work Conditions: Work under pressure, attention to detail, repetitive tasks, large workload, and tight deadlines
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, judgment, organized, and a team player
