Baker - Pastry Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Nannaa Eatery. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory pastries, bread, and desserts.
Key Responsibilities- Pastry Preparation: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Special Orders: Prepare pastry for special occasions, such as weddings and birthdays.
- Baking and Quality Control: Bake mixed dough and batters, and ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
- Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Work Environment: Inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, overtime required, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and tight deadlines.
