Job Title: Logistics Supervisor

V&C Logistics Inc. is seeking a skilled Logistics Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient logistics operations.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on logistics performance and productivity.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and resolve any technical issues that may arise.
  • Provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Arrange training for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in logistics or a related field.
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive and analytical approach to problem-solving.
  • Client-focused and results-driven.
Working Conditions:
  • 35 hours per week.
  • Permanent position.
  • English language required.
