Catering Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Catering Supervisor to join our team at Mos Mos Coffee. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our coffee shop and fast food outlet.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Oversee the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and guidance to staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as promoting a culture of excellence within the team.
- Inventory Management: Estimate and manage the inventory of ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we always have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all food and service meet our high quality control standards, addressing any issues promptly and professionally.
- Customer Service: Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a timely and courteous manner, providing a positive experience for all customers.
- Reporting and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, as well as preparing and submitting reports as required.
- Scheduling and Planning: Establish work schedules and plans to ensure that the coffee shop and fast food outlet are running efficiently and effectively.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Work Setting: This role is based in a coffee shop and fast food outlet environment.
- Personal Suitability: A client-focused approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential for this role.
