Job Description

The Wellness Program Specialist will play a key role in planning, implementing, and evaluating a comprehensive campus health promotion/wellness program. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to foster a positive and inclusive culture that enhances the overall wellness of students.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement health promotion programming for students and employees, including wellness events, workshops, and online educational materials.
  • Conduct campus needs assessments to inform wellness programming and ensure alignment with College strategic plans and policies.
  • Collaborate with Student Life Coordinators to integrate wellness aspects into all programming, including orientation and transitional initiatives.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise student assistants and volunteers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Promotion, Health Education, Public Health, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum two years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing student-focused health promotion/wellness programming.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to interact effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
About the Role

This is a full-time position that reports to the Associate Director, Student Affairs. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of health promotion principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
