Academic Professor of Game Design and Development

LCI Education is seeking an experienced Academic Professor of Game Design and Development to join our team at Lasalle College in Montreal, Quebec. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for teaching courses, creating course syllabi, and evaluating student assignments. Your expertise in game design and development will enable you to transmit essential skills and notions to students.
Status: Contract – Summer 2024 session
Location: Lasalle College, Montreal, Quebec
Responsibilities:
- Plan engaging class sessions that cater to diverse learning styles;
- Deliver high-quality lectures using the competency-based approach;
- Design assessments that align with program outcomes and evaluate student progress;
- Provide constructive feedback to support student growth and success;
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate effectively with stakeholders;
- All other related tasks.
Requirements:
- You must be legally entitled to work in Canada;
- Hold a relevant degree or diploma with significant experience in teaching or training;
- Proven track record of delivering quality instruction and assessing student performance;
- Demonstrated expertise in game design and development software, including Agile/Scrum methodologies;
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve departmental goals.
