Quantic Dream is a renowned game development studio seeking an experienced Senior Game Design Lead to join our team. This role offers a competitive salary of $140,000 - $160,000 per annum.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and creative individual to lead our design efforts on ambitious projects. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in game development, with a strong background in procedural and systemic game design. Proficiency in 3D design software (Maya, 3ds Max, Blender) and bug tracking/project versioning systems is also essential.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prototype Gameplay Features: Assist game designers in developing technical elements of game features and systems, evaluate designs and identify areas for improvement.
  2. Data Validation and Debugging: Collaborate with designers to ensure technical standards are met and optimize game data for good performance.
  3. Documentation and Communication: Document gaming systems and best practices for design teams, providing clear information and guidelines.
  4. Research and Development: Participate in researching and developing game tools and systems to enhance design team efficiency.
  5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coach content creators (Game Designers, Level Designers, Level Artists) in their integration efforts and validate their work to ensure adherence to technical guidelines.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in game development.
  • Familiarity with procedural and systemic game design.
  • In-depth understanding of game genres, mechanics, and level design.
  • Proficient in 3D design software (Maya, 3ds Max, Blender).
  • Familiarity with bug tracking and project versioning systems.
  • Able to handle tight deadlines and changing project requirements.
