We are seeking an experienced Action Game Narrative Designer to join our team at Electronic Arts. This role will involve creating and integrating narrative elements into action games, with a focus on delivering a cohesive and memorable story-driven experience.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop engaging storylines and narrative moments that complement gameplay.
  • Create and implement narrative scripts for in-game conversations, cinematic sequences, and other interactive experiences.
  • Work closely with writers, artists, and designers to ensure consistency in tone, style, and overall design language across the game.
  • Manage project scope, budget, and timelines to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in narrative design, 5+ years of experience in a lead/manager position, and a proven track record of shipping titles in a similar capacity. They should be familiar with game engine cinematic tools (Maya, Motion Builder), possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and have a good understanding of narrative dependencies with other crafts such as VFX, Lighting, Audio, Level Design, and Level Art.
