About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Park Patrol/Maintenance Specialist at Shady Acres Cottage & RV Resort. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of our resort facilities, as well as providing exceptional customer service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance duties, including cleaning, minor repairs, and equipment maintenance
  • Monitor and control access to all facilities in the park
  • Welcome guests and visitors in a friendly and courteous manner
  • Patrol the property to ensure that guidelines and property standards are being followed
  • Report any problems or safety hazards to the Resort Manager and/or authorities
  • Operate RTV, golf carts, or other vehicles to efficiently monitor occupied campsites and common areas
  • Respond to customer concerns, complaints, and queries
Requirements
  • Previous experience in customer service and/or maintenance in the hospitality, property management, security, or police services industry
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively in challenging situations
  • Experience working in Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and until 3am
  • Ability to work with limited supervision
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks in critical situations
