Food Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Food Store Supervisor to join our team at North Star Subs Inc. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food store, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they have the necessary training and support to excel in their roles.
- Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure they meet our high standards.
- Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand.
- Authorize returns and resolve any issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff members are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of our sales team, providing guidance and support as needed.
- 3-4 years of experience in a retail or food service environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and customers.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Fast-paced environment with a high level of customer interaction.
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday.
- Client focus and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Efficient interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with staff and customers.
- Organized and able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to support colleagues.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or food service environment.
