Food Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Food Store Supervisor to join our team at North Star Subs Inc. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food store, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they have the necessary training and support to excel in their roles.
- Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure they meet our high standards.
- Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand.
- Authorize returns and resolve any issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff members are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of our sales team, providing guidance and support as needed.
- 3-4 years of experience in a retail or food service environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a team and interact with customers.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Organizational skills to manage inventory, schedules, and reports.
Our food store is a fast-paced environment with a high volume of customers. You will be required to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Language:The primary language of work is English.
Hours of Work:37.5 to 44 hours per week.
