Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our Kamloops-based team and drive sales growth in the heavy haul trailer industry. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing and mentoring Territory Managers to achieve annual sales goals and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and motivate a team of Territory Managers to achieve sales targets
  • Educate and direct Territory Managers on product initiatives and promotional strategies
  • Monitor and analyze key financial metrics such as sales revenue, margin growth, and profitability
  • Oversee new, used, and rental inventory levels to ensure optimal stock management
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for Territory Managers
  • Conduct regular sales meetings with Territory Managers to discuss progress and challenges
  • Analyze market trends and implement effective coverage strategies
  • Engage with large accounts to promote full product support offerings
  • Provide insights on regional industry trends to the Division VP/Branch Manager
Requirements
  • Proven track record in sales management with a focus on heavy haul trailers
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a motivated team
  • A relevant combination of education and experience in the heavy haul trailer industry
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong industry expertise and knowledge in the truck, rigging & trailer business
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to recruit, train, and motivate a team
  • Highly organized with the ability to work under time pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Availability to travel as needed; valid driver's abstract required
  • Valid passport for international travel
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a results-driven approach
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $110,000 - $140,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Benefits include a comprehensive health and dental plan, retirement savings plan, and opportunities for professional development.
