- Guest Services: Provide information on hotel facilities and services, including dining options, amenities, and local attractions.
- Departure Processing: Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a professional and courteous manner.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
- Clerical Duties: Perform various clerical tasks, including faxing, filing, and photocopying.
- Communication: Answer telephone calls and relay messages to guests and staff.
- Special Requests: Assist guests with special needs and requests, such as wake-up calls and extra amenities.
- Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and comfortable environment for guests.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
The Front Desk Clerk will work in a fast-paced environment, often with multiple guests and tasks competing for attention. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask, work well under pressure, and maintain a positive attitude in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.
Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a front desk or customer service role.
- Work Setting: Hotel, motel, or resort environment.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
