Job Title: Front Desk Clerk - Hotel Industry

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Beausejour Hotel. As a Front Desk Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, handling room reservations, and maintaining a clean and organized front desk area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms
  • Take, cancel and change room reservations
  • Provide information on hotel facilities and services
  • Process guests' departures, calculate charges and receive payments
  • Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations and room assignments
  • Clerical duties (i.e. faxing, filing, photocopying)
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs
  • Contact customers to deliver requested wakeup calls
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Provide customer service

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Working Conditions:

  • Standing for extended periods
  • Overtime required

Language: English

Work Schedule: 35 to 40 hours per week
