About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition and Growth Strategist to support our Canadian team's growth and goals in relation to the social talent we represent. The successful candidate will oversee a team of 8-12 members and be responsible for ensuring they meet or exceed their collective billing targets.

The Talent Acquisition and Growth Strategist will work closely with team members to help them meet or exceed their individual billing targets as well as the targets outlined for each talent represented. This includes managing everyday conflicts with talent, brands, and agencies, leading weekly meetings to analyze billings and strategize for talent, and acting as the first point of contact when issues arise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of talent managers, social talent managers, and senior talent managers
  • Lead weekly one-on-one meetings with team members
  • Flag gaps in training to the Director or Managing Director
  • Analyze talent billings and recommend strategies
  • Work with talent managers to ideate and implement strategies
  • Evaluate the talent roster for diversity, category fit, and direct the team in strategic casting efforts
  • Submit billing reports to the Managing Director at mid-month, end-of-month, and end-of-quarter
  • Track and analyze proactive pitching efforts
  • Ensure action items assigned to the team in status meetings are carried out
  • Support team members in higher-level conflict resolution
  • Escalate sensitive conflicts to the Managing Director for support
  • Form relationships with brands and agencies on behalf of the agency
  • Manage high-priority social talent (2-3)
  • Ensure social talent meet their monthly and quarterly targets
  • Lead bi-weekly meetings with talent
  • Proactive pitching to brands and PR agencies on behalf of talent
  • Ideate and lead the team in implementing larger group pitching efforts
  • Additional tasks to support the company's growth as directed by Management

Requirements:

  • Possess a passion for social media and digital marketing
  • Have a proven track record of strong communication skills, organization, and proactive thinking
  • Able to prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Passion for social media strategy
  • Can thrive in a goal-oriented and sales-driven role
  • People management experience is an asset

Compensation Package:

  • Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year
