The Paddock Inn and Suites Inc. is seeking a skilled Guest Services Representative to join our team.

This permanent, full-time position offers a competitive salary of $25,000 per year, with the possibility of overtime pay.

About the Role:
  • We are looking for an individual who can provide exceptional customer service and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • As a Guest Services Representative, you will be responsible for registering arriving guests, assigning rooms, and processing group arrivals and departures.
  • You will also be tasked with taking, cancelling, and changing room reservations, as well as providing information on hotel facilities and services.
  • In addition, you will be required to process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments.
  • You will need to maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, while following emergency and safety procedures.
  • Clerical duties, such as faxing, filing, and photocopying, will also be a part of your responsibilities.
  • Finally, you will be expected to answer telephone calls and relay messages, while providing excellent customer service.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Client Focus: You must have a strong focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring that guests have a positive experience at the Paddock Inn and Suites Inc.
  • Judgement: You will need to use your judgement to make decisions quickly and efficiently, often in high-pressure situations.
  • Organized: You will be responsible for maintaining an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, which requires strong organizational skills.
  • Reliability: You must be able to work independently and reliably, with minimal supervision.
  • Team Player: As a Guest Services Representative, you will be working as part of a team to ensure that guests receive exceptional service.
