Job Summary

The Senior Account Executive role is a key position within our organization, responsible for driving revenue growth through the development and implementation of sound selling strategies. This individual will be responsible for prospecting and closing sales to new customers, as well as managing existing business relationships to achieve budgeted sales and price goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and grow billable value in assigned accounts by selling new waste streams, services, and products to current and prospective customers.
  • Initiate business-to-business sales relationships and develop sound prospect development plans.
  • Manage sales pipeline to achieve new sales goals and minimize revenue and account losses.
  • Establish and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by proposing solutions that comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Work closely with Area Sales Managers to resolve unique customer issues and communicate pricing and service strategies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in direct business-to-business sales, business-to-business cold calling, and phone-based business-to-business prospecting.
  • 4 years of work experience in direct business-to-business sales, business-to-business cold calling, and phone-based business-to-business prospecting resulting in successfully obtaining customer appointments.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers.
  • Proficient with computer and software applications, with the ability to maintain sales pipeline and prospect database.
Work Environment

This role primarily operates in a professional office environment and requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and copy machines.

The expected base pay range for this position across Canada is $65,560 - $90,321. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
