About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Comal Y Canela Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our culinary operations and ensuring exceptional food quality.

Job Description
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to inform menu planning and ordering decisions.
  • Analyze operating costs and other data to optimize kitchen efficiency and profitability.
  • Prepare and cook high-quality meals on a regular basis, as well as for special guests or functions.
  • Source and requisition fresh ingredients and kitchen supplies to maintain high standards.
  • Develop and implement recipes and menus that showcase our culinary expertise.
Key Responsibilities
  • Train and mentor junior staff members in preparation, cooking, and handling techniques.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of events and services.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience as a senior chef or equivalent position in a similar environment.
  • Degree from a culinary program or equivalent experience.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
