About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at Maple Leaf Property Management. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our HR team and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Hiring
    • Coordinate the recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews
    • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent
    • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions
  • Employee Onboarding
    • Develop and implement onboarding programs to ensure a smooth transition for new employees
    • Coordinate new hire paperwork, benefits enrollment, and other onboarding activities
  • HR Administration
    • Provide administrative support to the HR team, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping
    • Assist with benefits administration, including open enrollment and COBRA
    • Coordinate employee recognition and reward programs
  • Communication and Reporting
    • Develop and distribute HR-related communications, including company-wide announcements and policy updates
    • Prepare and analyze HR reports, including recruitment metrics and employee engagement surveys
Requirements
  • Education
    • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Experience
    • 1-3 years of experience in human resources or a related field
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
