Tax Incentives Manager

About the Role
BDO is a firm built on a foundation of positive relationships with our people and our clients. We're seeking a Manager with expertise in accounting and tax related to R&D to join our SR&ED team.
Your Responsibilities
- Advise the multidisciplinary team on government incentives, including SR&ED, IDMTC, and other programs.
- Prepare, support, or review documents and analyses for tax credit claims.
- Meet with clients, financial managers, and technical directors to evaluate and research eligible activities.
- Prepare, review, or support the compilation of expenses or other accounting tasks related to tax credit claims.
- Engage in training staff and invest in the professional development of your team.

Your Experience and Education
- You have completed your CPA designation and the In-Depth Tax Program, and/or a Master's in Tax.
- You have at least 5 years of Tax experience, including experience working with SR&ED and government incentives.
- You have an extensive understanding of relevant tax legislation and incentives.
- You are proficient with tax returns software (TaxPrep).
- You are French/English bilingual.
- You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work.
