Registered Nurse, IVF and Reproductive Care

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Originelle Fertility Clinic and Women's Health. As a Nurse Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support throughout their fertility journey.
Key Responsibilities- Implement, supervise, and evaluate patient care throughout all fertility-related services, including ovulation induction, egg freezing, sperm analysis, IVF, and oocyte donation.
- Communicate effectively with the Nurse Supervisor and Clinic Manager to ensure seamless patient care.
- Demonstrate clinical expertise in all IVF procedures and serve as a liaison between nurses, physicians, and coordinators.
- Foster a safe and non-discriminatory environment for patients, families, visitors, and staff, promoting a culture of respect and sensitivity to socio-cultural diversity.
- Provide routine examinations and procedures, perform blood tests and IVs, administer medications and injections, and assist with retrievals and transfers.
- Take patient vital signs, offer injection teachings, and prepare personalized calendars and treatment plans.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment, ensuring quality care to patients and partners.
- Communicate information verbally or in writing to other nurses, physicians, and embryologists, and liaise with physicians to ensure accurate and timely communication of lab results.
- Counsel and train patients on infertility treatment protocols, medications, and procedures, and maintain clear and concise computerized patient charting.
- Prepare patients for egg collections, IVF, and frozen embryo transfers, and assist patients throughout ovulation induction, egg freezing, sperm analysis, IVF, and oocyte donation.
- Provide compassion, emotional support, and counseling to patients throughout the IVF experience, and respond to patient inquiries regarding medication, treatment plans, and test results.
- Ensure proper follow-up communication with patients via all available forms of communication in a timely manner, and aspire to exceed customer service expectations in all aspects of nursing responsibilities.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (required)
- RN License with the College of Nurses of Ontario (required)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certificate (required)
- Experience in gynecology, operating room, or recovery room (ideal)
- Specialization in fertility and experience in clinical practice, teaching, management, and consulting (ideal)
- Competitive hourly rate: $28.00 per hour
