Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Whistler Tacos La Cantina. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Estimate food and labor costs, and maintain accurate records of inventory and sales.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and specialist chefs.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menus to ensure a unique and exciting dining experience for our guests.
  • Collaborate with our events team to create customized menus for special occasions and events.
  • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Work closely with our purchasing team to source high-quality ingredients and supplies.
  • Manage kitchen inventory and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role.
  • Proven track record of success in leading a kitchen team and achieving high-quality results.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
