Job Title: Operational Risk Manager

BMO is seeking an experienced Operational Risk Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Operational Risk Management team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of operational risk management strategies and programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement operational risk management strategies and programs to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and assess operational risks, and develop mitigation plans to address these risks.
  • Provide risk management guidance and support to business units and teams to ensure effective risk management practices.
  • Develop and maintain risk management policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to senior management on risk mitigation strategies.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in operational risk management, with a focus on risk governance and compliance.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective risk management strategies and programs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and assess operational risks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and risk management frameworks.
