Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

Mission Thrift Store is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, ensuring excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Assign tasks and duties to sales staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Hire, train, and develop sales staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.
  • Manage store inventory, including ordering merchandise and authorizing returns.
  • Establish and maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Manage cash and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Oversee payroll administration and ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to sales staff.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
