About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our team at Enbridge. In this role, you will be responsible for processing purchase order requests for materials and services, ensuring compliance with purchasing procedures and requisition requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and process purchase requisitions for goods/services, ensuring compliance with purchasing procedures and requisition requirements.
  • Interact with Suppliers, Contractors, Project Managers, Project Engineers, Consultants, and other department personnel regarding requisition requirements, procurement procedures, approvals, order status, and follow-up.
  • Maintain records in accordance with established policies and procedures and audit guidelines/SOX requirements.
  • Validate and execute change orders related to material or services issued as per the requirements and requisition of the stakeholder.
  • Validate and reconcile supplier invoices, handle invoice resolution, and correspond with supplier/contractor, Accounts Payable, or stakeholder regarding invoicing discrepancies.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
  • For candidates who do not possess a University degree, an additional 3 years of experience is required. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Previous related experience within Supply Chain as a materials/services buyer.
  • Basic understanding of supply chain concepts, including current market conditions, key suppliers, industry knowledge, and materials or services being procured.
  • Knowledge of Procurement processes/policies such as SOX policies.
  • Enrollment in a professional designation program in a related field, e.g., Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP)/Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), or equivalent is considered an asset.
  • Experience with Oracle or SAP.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for upholding Enbridge's core values of Safety, Integrity, Respect, and Inclusion along with our ways of working.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
