Custodian - Casual On-Call

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team on a casual, on-call basis. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our schools and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in all areas of the school and facilities
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and machinery
  • Use and apply chemicals, products, and equipment safely and effectively
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Communicate effectively with staff, students, and the public
  • Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving furniture and equipment

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
  • Building Service Worker (BSW) certificate
  • 6 months of relevant work experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
