Job Title: Developmental Service Worker

Chamomile Adult Services is seeking a skilled and compassionate Developmental Service Worker to join our team. As a Developmental Service Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in our group home setting.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic individual to provide support and care to our clients. The successful candidate will have experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and will be able to provide a safe and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide support and care to individuals with developmental disabilities in a group home setting
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care and household chores
  • Develop and implement behavior management programs to support clients
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document client progress and provide regular updates to the team
Requirements:
  • Developmental services worker (DSW) Training
  • Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
