Job Title: Developmental Service Worker

Chamomile Adult Services is seeking a skilled and compassionate Developmental Service Worker to join our team. As a Developmental Service Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in a group home setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare reports and case histories to document client progress and needs.
  • Assess clients' relevant skill strengths and development needs, and develop strategies to support their growth.
  • Provide suicide and crisis intervention, and resolve conflict situations in a safe and respectful manner.
  • Liaise with other social services agencies and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
  • Maintain program statistics for evaluation and research purposes.
Requirements:
  • Developmental services worker (DSW) Training.
  • Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • CPR Certificate.
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
