Job Title:

Developmental Service Worker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Developmental Service Worker to join our team at ICSS. As a Developmental Service Worker, you will work with individuals with developmental disabilities, providing support and assistance with daily living tasks, socialization, and community integration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a group home setting
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores
  • Encourage socialization and community integration through outings and activities
  • Develop and implement behavior support plans to promote positive behavior
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as therapists and medical staff, to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as developmental services or social work
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
