About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at SUNLIFE ELECTRICAL LTD. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and performing various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Tasks: Perform various accounting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis.
  • Payroll Processing: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
