About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Health Services Manager, the Physiotherapist plays a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with actual or potential impairment, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities. This position may involve providing services in outpatient, inpatient, and community settings, requiring excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. The successful candidate will educate and communicate with other health disciplines, the general public, family members, and caregivers, while providing supervision and evaluation of physiotherapy students and assistants.

About You

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physiotherapist to join our team. To be successful in this role, you will have a Bachelor's degree or entry-level master's program in Physiotherapy from an accredited university, membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists, and computer skills. Annual Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation certification is also required. Competencies in other languages are an asset, with French being preferred.

Hours
  • Permanent Part-time, % FTE, 75 Hours Bi-weekly
  • Evening/weekend/holidays may be required
Compensation and Incentives

The hourly rate for this position is $33.97 - $42.89. Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
