Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Camp Manager to join our team at Matrix Camps and Logistics. As a Camp Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our remote camps, ensuring the safety and well-being of our staff and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain camp facilities, including generators, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of onsite staff and head office personnel.
  • Work closely with Project Managers to ensure client relations are maintained.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance and repair strategies to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience as a Camp Manager in remote settings.
  • Basic knowledge in Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing & Mechanical.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • PAL license (for wildlife monitoring) and Level 1 Supervisor Ticket required.
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in a remote camp setting.
  • Previous experience working with Diesel Generators, off-road vehicles, and chainsaws.
  • Experience managing a crew and using a Satellite phone.
