About the Role

Bureau Veritas Group is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our laboratory services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the internal audit program, conducting audits, reviewing and approving responses to identified non-conformances, and actively collaborating to changes and innovations.
  • Coordinate the Proficiency Testing (PT) program, receiving PT samples, compiling results, submitting to the provider, reviewing PT reports, coordinating responses to non-conformances, and updating scorecards.
  • Maintain the Quality Management Software, providing support to users, extracting summaries, distributing to the management team, managing and reviewing management system documentation.
  • Develop and deliver training, giving individual and group training sessions, in-person and remote training, practical and informative training sessions.
  • Assist internal customers in addressing questions, concerns, and stuck points with regards to quality practices, through emails, calls, and in-person or remote meetings.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, writing, correcting, and formatting procedures, corrective letters, and audit reports, printing and distributing documents and logbooks, booking appointments and reminders in calendars, compiling data for various reports and scorecards, internal and external, facilitating meetings and audits.
Requirements
  • College diploma in science or equivalent;
  • Minimum of 2 years of laboratory experience;
  • Ability to work effectively in an environment where priorities change constantly with minimal supervision;
  • Establishing a good relationship with the management team;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in French, with intermediate English skills;
  • Organizational skills to manage a multitude of diverse tasks over time and priorities;
  • Good analytical and synthesis skills to participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement;
  • Comfortable speaking in front of groups of people;
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook;
  • Good knowledge and understanding of ISO/IEC 17025 and Quebec environmental accreditations is an asset;
  • Being an internal auditor is an asset.
