About the Role

As a key member of the Administration portuaire de Montréal team, the Financial and Risk Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the organization's strategic decision-making process. This position involves analyzing financial data, assessing risks, and developing financial models to optimize financial performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis
    • Conduct in-depth financial analyses to provide analytical support for stakeholder decision-making.
    • Monitor and predict cash flows and cash flow trends to ensure accurate forecasting.
    • Develop and maintain cash reports and cash flow forecasts to inform business decisions.
  • Risk Management
    • Participate in the development and implementation of integrated risk management processes.
    • Develop and produce risk reports to identify and mitigate potential risks.
    • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure the integrity and reliability of financial data and risk management information.
  • Collaboration and Support
    • Work closely with various departments to provide financial analysis and risk management support.
    • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with deadlines and deliverables.
    • Ensure the rigor and accuracy of information and reports communicated by the finance team.
    Requirements
    • Education
      • Bachelor's degree in business administration, specializing in finance or a related discipline.
    • Experience
      • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis and risk management.
    • Skills
      • Mastery of financial modeling techniques.
      • Mastery of the Office suite, including Excel at the expert level.
      • Knowledge of Power BI, SAP, and SQL Server is an asset.
      • Excellent analytical, synthesis, and communication skills.
      • Proactivity and team spirit.
      • Spoken and written bilingualism: French and English.
