About the Role
As a Risk Management Specialist at Northbridge Financial Corporation, you will play a key role in customizing solutions for our clients when they need advice on technical risks. You will work closely with our extensive broker network to develop unique solutions for all classes of risk while being responsible for servicing increasing complex accounts in accordance with existing guidelines and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Underwrite and service increasingly complex accounts in accordance with established guidelines and business objectives in the achievement of national standards for data quality and service level agreements.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with brokers and/or customers.
- Coach and mentor junior underwriters on the team.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement solutions for complex risks.
Requirements
- 10+ years of underwriting experience.
- Completed, or pursuing, CIP, FCIP, or RPLU designations.
- Significant experience in liability and property.
- Knowledge of Primary/Excess Structure Program and experience in international placements an asset.
- Team-first mentality.
