Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Program Coordinator I to join our Recreation Therapy/Adult Day Services department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing recreational and leisure programs that support the health and well-being of our residents and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate recreational and leisure programs for residents and clients
  • Develop and implement program schedules and activities
  • Supervise and provide direction to Activity Worker II positions and volunteers
  • Assist with therapeutic components of resident care plans
  • Monitor patient/resident progression and provide feedback to clinical teams
Requirements
  • Graduation from a recognized recreational program plus one year of recent, related experience
  • Valid Class IV vehicle license
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to organize work and supervise others
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
