As a Global IT Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in accelerating Canada's energy sustainability and achieving its net-zero goals.

You will join an innovative team that supports Westinghouse's mission to provide clean energy solutions. The ISD Global Support Technician is responsible for performing work across multiple areas (sites) and providing support to end users on a variety of issues.

About the Opportunity

The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing personal computer equipment and mobile devices. You will analyze user-related problems to determine the problem source and notify appropriate personnel for assistance in resolution.

You will also provide support for infrastructure and system upgrades, system refresh, outages, and various IT-related projects. This includes installing and making changes to PC, peripherals, telephony, and printer devices.

Additionally, you will troubleshoot video conference equipment and provide support for Active Directory and hands-on support for servers and network equipment. You will manage the local IT asset inventory, stockroom, and CMDB.

This position requires strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently by effectively leveraging provided tools.
