Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at GJLC2 FOOD SERVICES INC. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units, as well as clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Food Preparation: Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, keep records of food quantities used, package take-out food, portion and wrap foods, prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take customers' orders, and use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
  • Housekeeping: Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, handle and store cleaning products, sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
  • Food Handling: Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.
