Food Service Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at GJLC2 FOOD SERVICES INC. As a Food Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Cleanliness and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units. Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
- Food Preparation: Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand. Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
- Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables. Take customers' orders and handle cash and credit transactions.
- Inventory Management: Keep records of the quantities of food used. Stock refrigerators and salad bars.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment. Repetitive tasks. Work under pressure.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus. Efficient interpersonal skills. Reliability. Team player.
- Training and Development: Will train. Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
