Job Title: Food Counter Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at GJLC2 FOOD SERVICES INC. As a Food Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units. Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Food Preparation: Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand. Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables. Take customers' orders and handle cash and credit transactions.
  • Inventory Management: Keep records of the quantities of food used. Stock refrigerators and salad bars.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, and work under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, and team player.
